Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program aims to engage current students in the recruitment and onboarding of future GW Nursing students while providing leadership, professional development, and community-building opportunities.
Program Goals
Strengthen prospective student engagement through authentic student voices.
Support admissions, recruitment, and student services events.
Create student-led content for social media to highlight the GW Nursing experience.
Build leadership and communication skills among ambassadors.
Foster a welcoming environment for new and admitted students.
Program Expectations
Attend mandatory training and periodic ambassador meetings.
Participate in at least two recruitment or student service events per semester.
Submit a minimum of two pieces of social media content per semester.
Maintain a positive and professional image when representing GW Nursing.
Join the Ambassador Team
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a current GW Nursing student enrolled full-time.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Be in good academic and conduct standing.
- Exhibit strong communication, professionalism, and enthusiasm for GW Nursing.
Application Process
- Complete an online application form.
- Submit a personal statement (300–500 words) explaining:
- Why do you want to serve as a Student Ambassador?
- What unique perspective you bring to the program.
- How you hope to support future GW Nursing students.
- Selected applicants may be invited for a brief interview with the Student Affairs team.
