The George Washington University School of Nursing has offices on both GW’s Foggy Bottom campus and Virginia Science and Technology campus (VSTC). Our presence in Washington, D.C., enables faculty and students to participate more directly in the national health and health policy discussion. Our VSTC campus is our research and educational technology hub.
Our Campuses
Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC)
Located in Ashburn, the Virginia Science and Technology campus is in Northern Virginia’s technology corridor, a hub for international technology and research and development companies. Our Accelerated and Veterans BSN options are both taught on campus in Ashburn, where students learn in a 20,000-square-foot Simulation Center that boasts high-fidelity manikins and VR immersive learning experiences.
Ashburn offers suburban conveniences with easy access to Washington, DC, to the east and the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west. With scenic hikes in nearby national parks, an abundance of restaurants, and convenient housing, it is a great place for students to focus on their studies.
Foggy Bottom Campus
GW’s Foggy Bottom campus is in the heart of Washington, D.C., just a short walk from the White House, the Pan American Health Organization, and many other international and domestic health organizations. This location allows our faculty to incorporate international, government, and cultural resources into their curriculum.
With a Metro station on campus, students can easily access all that Foggy Bottom and Washington, D.C., have to offer.
