Distinguished Alumni Award

This award honors alumni who have typified the George Washington University tradition of excellence and brought credit to the GW School of Nursing by their personal accomplishment, professional achievement or humanitarian service. The criteria for nomination include:
- Professional achievement
- Personal growth and achievement
- Contribution to society
- Military service
- Leadership
- Service to and support for GW Nursing
- Clinical expertise/Patient care
Any individual may nominate an alumna/alumnus of The George Washington University who graduated with a degree in nursing for this award. Self-nominations are welcome. Tell us about yourself! Recipients will be presented with this award at the Honoree Luncheon at the Army Navy Country Club on August 29, 2020 at noon and will also be recognized at the 10th Anniversary Gala that evening at 6 p.m. Recipients will be notified by the end of February if they are selected for this honor.
