Pinning Ceremony
Cohort 37
Wednesday, April 29 | 10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. ET | Jack Morton Auditorium
GW Nursing invites you, your family, and friends to the Cohort 37 Pins and Portraits Ceremony. The Pinning Ceremony welcomes our GW Nursing graduates into the profession of nursing. Professors and mentors present each new nurse with ceremonial pins, representing their graduation from The George Washington University. Graduating nurses will then take the Nightingale Pledge, named in honor of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, and pledge their service to the high ideals of the nursing profession.
